Obituary

Carolyn A. Thompson, a resident of Leisure Village West in Manchester, NJ.

Born in the Bronx, NY (1944), a resident of Bergen County for many years and of Ocean County (since 1985). A graduate of St. Luke’s High School, Ho-Ho-Kus,NJ (Class of 1962), received BS in Business Management from St. Peter’s College, Jersey City (1987). Retired from The Port Authority of NY & NJ in 2005 after 27

years and at retirement held the position of Landside Operations Duty Manager, Newark Liberty International Airport [oficial payroll title is General Operations Supervisor]. Daughter of the late Raymond C. and Anne (McDermott) Thompson.

Survived by her loving sister, Ellen Francis, brother-in-law Keith Francis of Pepperell, Massachusetts; nieces, nephews, grandnieces and grandnephews as well as many cousins, extended cousins and good friends. Active volunteer at Leisure Village West, member of several genealogical societies. Loved her family and friends, genealogy, bingo, Mah Jong and casinos.

Interment is private; a memorial service will be scheduled at the convenience of the family.
