Obituary
Kenneth H. Hojnowski,
73 of Clark entered into eternal rest on Friday, January
14, 2022.
Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the
Visiting hours on Tuesday, January 18 from 4 - 8 pm at
the Walter Johnson Funeral Home, Clark. The Funeral
begins on Wednesday at 9:00 am at the Funeral Home,
thence to St. Helen’s Church, Westfield, where a Funeral
Mass will be offered at 10:00 am. Entombment will follow
in St. Gertrude Cemetery, Colonia. To offer condolences,

Mr. Hojnowski was born in Bayonne to Henry and Florence
(Jankowski) Hojnowski. He graduated from St. Peter’s
Prep High School in Jersey City and received his BA from
Fairfield University in CT. He lived in Elizabeth, prior
to moving to Clark 15 years ago.
Mr. Hojnowski served with the Port Authority Police for
30 years, becoming a Detective in 1984 and working the
last 8 years at Newark Airport, retiring in 2004.
Mr. Hojnowski was the beloved husband for 32 years, of
Deborah (Whitney) Hojnowski; the devoted father of
Antoinette Chapin and her husband Randy and Kenneth H.
Hojnowski II; the cherished grandfather of Jocelyn,
Aidan, Aaron, Veronica, Sebastian, Lucy, Maggie and
Roman and the dear brother of Eugene (late) and his wife
Barbara, Bernadette, Maryann and Judith.
