Obituary

Leon (Lee) Goodman Joined the Port Authority's Traffic Engineering Division in 1956. He was Manager, Transportation Planning Division.  He has held office and been active in the Institute of Transportation Engineers and was president of that group in 1993. 

Lee has served on the board of Temple Emanuel in New Hyde Park.

It is with a heavy heart that I tell you that Leon (Lee) Goodman, died peacefully at home on Sunday, June 5 in the loving care of his best friend and wife, Leona (Lewis) Goodman.

In addition to his beloved wife of 63 years, Lee is lovingly remembered by his children, Alyssa Goodman, Meryl Fink and her husband Jeff, and his three grandchildren, Jonathan, Hannah, and Abby.

A service will be held at Congregation B’nai Torah, 225 Boston Post Road (Route 20), Sudbury, MA at 1PM on Wednesday, June 8, followed by a graveside ceremony at Beit Olam East Cemetery, 42 Concord Road, Wayland. The service at the temple will be live-streamed at this LINK.
