Obituary

Vincent “Brian” Donovan, age 79 of Wall Township died on Wednesday, July 13, 2022, At Jersey Shore University Medical Center, Neptune. Brian was a Resident of Wall Township for over 45 years.

He was born and raised in Jersey City. After high school graduation, Brian enlisted in the United States Air Force where he was stationed in Crete and Taiwan. After his military service he attended Seton Hall University in South Orange where he received a Bachelor’s degree in Accounting. Upon his college graduation he began working for the Port Authority of NY NJ where he worked as a construction auditor for thirty Years before retiring in 1997.

Brian was predeceased by his loving parents, Vincent M. Donovan and Mary E. Meyer Donovan, and his loving aunt, Mary H. Donovan. He is survived by his loving wife of 48 years Theresa M. Sorge Donovan, his brothers Richard “Kevin” Donovan and his wife, Helaine and Robert B. Donovan and his wife, Marianne. He is also survived by six nieces, four nephews, seven great nieces, and four great nephews as well as his loving sisters-in law and brothers-in-law. Brian is also survived by his life-long friend, Jack Manion, and his family.

Brian was endeared to whomever he met and beloved by his friends and family.
