						Vincent E. DeConzo 
						passed away peacefully on Friday, February 18, 2022 at 
						the age of 83.
						
						Vincent is survived by his wife of 62 years, Marilyn, 
						his son Matthew and his wife Donna. He was a beloved 
						grandfather, or aka “Pop” to Nicholas, Maria, Noelle and 
						Nicole.
						
						Vincent, known by all as Vinny, worked for over 34 years 
						with the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in 
						the Engineering Department and retired as Deputy 
						Director of Engineering. He received his Bachelor and 
						Master of Business Administration with The City College 
						of New York and later taught accounting at PACE 
						University. He was an active parishioner at St. Joseph 
						RC Church in Oradell and served as a Eucharistic 
						Minister as well as a member of the Advisory Board of 
						the St. Joseph Catholic School and a member of the 
						Knights of Columbus. Vinny also served as a financial 
						advisor to several churches in Bergen County including 
						Sacred Heart RC Church of Rochelle Park and Corpus 
						Christi RC Church of Hasbrouck Heights.
						
						One of Vinny’s major accomplishments was that he proudly 
						ran and finished the New York City Marathon at 51 years 
						old, and until recently, enjoyed attending his favorite 
						Spin Classes at HNH Fitness in Oradell. Vinny was a 
						loyal fan of the NY JETS and enjoyed years of tailgating 
						with his son, grandson, and many friends while also 
						earning the title as “Captain” of his tailgate crew.
						
						Family and friends are invited to visit Tuesday, 
						February 22nd from 4-7PM at the:

						559 Kinderkamack Road, Oradell. 
						
						
						A funeral mass will 
						be held on Wednesday, February 23rd at 10:30AM at St. 
						Joseph’s RC Church Oradell with interment to follow at 
						Mt. Carmel Cemetery, Tenafly. Flowers are welcome or 
						donations may be made to the St. Joseph’s Home for the 
						Elderly, 140 Shepherd Lane #1, Totowa, NJ 07512.
