Obituary

Stanley E. Atlak, Sr., age 94, of Toms River, New Jersey passed away on Friday, January 7, 2022. Stanley was born January 25, 1927.

Police Officer Stanley Atlak, whose nickname is obviously "Stash", was a 19 year Veteran with the PAPD. The staff at the Police Academy selected Stanley to assist in presenting their Garage Training Refresher Course. He was a Crew Chief in the Emergency Garage, his expertise in the field is a matter of record. Stanley served with the Army in Italy in WWII so he learned to speak two languages, Polish an Italian.

Stash was not only a great cop he was a great family man and loved to spend time with his wife, Mary and his four children, Stanley, Ronald, Gerald and Debra.  He will be greatly missed.
