Obituary

Dean F. Kowalski 62 of Monroe Township, NJ died Tuesday December 15th at Care One of Jackson, NJ.

Born in Brooklyn, NY, Mr. Kowalski lived in the Westerleigh section on Staten Island and Old Bridge for 25 years before moving to Monroe Township in 2014.

He was employed over 23 years as a police officer for the Port Authority of NY & NJ in Newark.

He enjoyed gardening, camping and fishing, working on cars and especially small appliances. Most of all he love to spend time with his children and grandchildren.

He was predeceased by his parents Stephen and Elizabeth (Loy) Kowalski.

Surviving are his wife of 39 years, Ann-Marie Luongo, his son Dean and his wife Shannon of Jackson, his daughter Valeri Hennessey and her husband Russell, his brother Stephen of Punta Gorda, FL, his three sisters Debra Gilhooley, Marilyn Criscitiello and Janice Procopio all of Staten Island and his 5 grandchildren Shane, Callie, Fiona, Russell and Cameron.

A memorial Mass will be celebrated on Wednesday December 30th at 10 a.m. at Nativity of Our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Road, Monroe Township.

Dean’s family would like all of his friends and coworkers to know that they are having a Memorial Mass at the Nativity of our Lord RC Church, 185 Applegarth Rd, Monroe Township, NJ @ 10am on Wednesday 12-30-20. No burial ceremony, private repass, wife will take home the ashes from Church.

Dean retired 8/13/2008 from Newark Airport.
