						Anthony 
						Winston Griffith, 64, of East Brunswick, passed away 
						at his home on October 5, 2020. He was born in Grenada 
						in 1956 to Leonora Rose (also known as Miss Layne) and 
						Edgar Griffith.
						
						Anthony attended Beaulieu Roman Catholic School. Anthony 
						worked for the Port Authority of NY & NJ at Newark 
						International Airport for 32 years.
						
						He is predeceased by his father, Edgar Griffith.
						
						Surviving is his wife Eris Breeden-Griffith; Son 
						Anthony; Daughters Tamara and Katrina.
						Mother; Leonora Rose; Sisters; Denise Laurent, Debra 
						Arleen Rose Gunner, Maudelin Woods, Linda Ventour-Paul. 
						Brothers; Sheridan Rose, Simon Roosevelt Rose and 
						Anthony Philip Rose.
						Uncle: Hilary Lewis; Step-children: Indira and Sire; 
						Cousins: Myrna, Beverly, Liam and Alister, Charmaine and 
						Junior; Best Friend Herb Miller and his wife Dee.
						He leaves behind numerous nieces and nephews, grand 
						nieces and nephews.
						
						Anthony was very talented; as a young man he developed a 
						passion for sewing, a skill he learned from his mother, 
						and he became a sort after tailor on the Island. He 
						spent his days at the sewing machine and was a police 
						officer at the local police station at nights. In later 
						adult years he also had a passion for restoring old cars 
						and was very good at remodeling home interiors. He was 
						often called upon by friends and family to help them 
						with renovation projects. 
						
						Anthony moved to the US in 1979 and worked hard to 
						achieve the American Dream. He was held in the highest 
						regard by people he helped in one way or another. He 
						said recently, “I helped people, because that is what 
						God wanted me to do.”
						
						Viewing will be on Saturday, October 10, 2020 from 2 – 4 
						PM at Rezem Funeral Home, 457 Cranbury Road, East 
						Brunswick, NJ. A prayer service will begin at 3:30pm.
						
						Cremation will be private.
