In Memory of
Daniel M. Caldarulo
October 11, 2020
Obituary
His friends at the Port Authority were saddened to learn
of the passing of Daniel M. Caldarulo on Sunday, October
11, 2020. Daniel joined the Port Authority family on
January 14, 2002 as a General Maintainer, with 18
dedicated years of service in that role. He was
also a military veteran, having served his country as a
Paratrooper in the 82nd Airborne Division of the United
States Army for four years.
Daniel’s friends at the George Washington Bridge & Bus
Station, where he was most recently assigned, fondly
remember his kind personality and warm smile. He loved
spending time with his family, and is survived by his
daughter Julianne, sons Matthew and Thomas — who are
following in his military footsteps as a high school
ROTC member and a National Guardsman, respectively — his
mother Yvonne, and several siblings including his
brother Keith Caldarulo, a 22-year Port Authority
employee.
Our thoughts and deepest sympathies are with Daniel’s
family, friends and colleagues during this difficult
time. We are also enormously respectful and grateful to
Daniel and the Caldarulo family for their military
service to this nation.
