Obituary

Thomas Birkner of Sea Girt died Thursday, September 24, 2020. He was 71.

Born in New York City. His Family moved to Hoboken where he lived Most of his life. Mr. Birkner graduated from Our Lady of Grace Grammar School and Hoboken High School. He was a Mechanic at Haase Oldsmobile and the moved to The Port of Authority where he worked for 30 years.

Thomas was predeceased by his father Edward Birkner and his Mother Elizabeth nee O'Neil. He is survived by his Brother Edward Birkner of Toms River and his Childhood friend David Cace of Sea Girt, NJ.

Family will receive friends at the Earl F. Bosworth Funeral Home, 311 Willow Ave, Hoboken, NJ on Tuesday from 4 to 8 PM. The Funeral Mass at Our Lady of Grace Church, Hoboken on Wednesday, September 30, 2020 at 9:30 AM. Interment to follow in the Family Plot in Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington, NJ.
