Obituary

Edward L. Anderson, 74, of Manasquan, NJ passed away peacefully on Thursday, February 6, 2020 at Jersey Shore University Medical Center.

Edward was born on August 10, 1945 to his parents Edward L. Anderson II and Dorothy Anderson (Froidevaux). Edward was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ and following high school he attended the Newark Engineering School (now NJIT) and graduated in 1967 with a degree in mechanical engineering, and continued with post-grad work. After college Edward served in the United States Air Force from 1968-1972. Afterwards Edward began his career working for the New York-New Jersey Port Authority as an Auto Engineering Specialist.

Edward was predeceased by his parents, Edward and Dorothy Anderson. He is survived by his loving wife Carol Anderson (Zetterholm); his sister Eileen Kohler and her husband Robert of Newton, NJ; his sister Barbara Peterson and her husband Christopher of Jersey City, NJ; his niece Amanda Peterson and his nephew Christopher Peterson.

Family and friends are invited to attend a visitation on Sunday, February 9th from 2-4 pm at Orender Family Home for Funerals, 2463 Old Bridge Rd., Manasquan, NJ 08736.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Monday, February 10, at Our Lady of Victories, 2217 John F. Kennedy Blvd, Jersey City, NJ 07304 beginning at 9:30 AM with an entombment to follow at Holy Name Cemetery in Jersey City.
