Obituary

Donald Korba, age 89, of the Fairways Section of Lakewood, NJ passed away on Sunday January 13, 2019 at the Community Medical Center in Toms River, NJ.

Donald was born January 20, 1929 in Bayonne, New Jersey, and he was the son of the late Mabel and Michael Korba. He was a US Navy Veteran of the Korean War, having served upon the USS Allen. Donald retired as a supervisor after a career with the Aviation Department of Newark Liberty International Airport, in Newark, NJ.

Donald is survived by his beloved wife, Janet Korba; 2 sons and 1 daughter-in-law, Steven Korba, David and Heather Korba; a grandson, Teigen Korba; and a step-great-grandson Tyler Tobin.

His funeral mass will be celebrated Thursday, January 17, 2019 at 10:30 a.m. in St. Luke's Church, 1674 Old Freehold Rd., Toms River, NJ 08755. Donald will be laid to rest in the Holy Sepulchre Cemetery in Philadelphia, PA at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
