Lawrence F. Sposi January 19, 1945 - May 6, 2018 Obituary LAWRENCE F. SPOSI, 73, of Jackson Twp., NJ., passed away on Sunday, May 6, 2018, at home. Lawrence was born in Staten Island, NY, and resided in Roselle Park, NJ, prior to settling in Jackson Twp., 17 years ago. He worked for the Port Authority of NY/NJ as a project manager for 37 years prior to his retirement in 1998. Lawrence was predeceased by his parents, Frank and Ann Sposi. He is survived by his wife of 41 years, Kristine Sposi of Jackson Twp., NJ; his sister Claire Zarelli and her husband John, of Scotch Plains, NJ; and by his nieces, Leigh Lewis and her husband Austin and their daughter Reilly of McLean, VA and Lauren Renaud and her husband Chris and their children John and Kiely of Paris, France. Relatives and friends are respectfully invited to attend his visitation on Wednesday, May 9, 2018 from 2 -5 PM at the GEORGE S. HASSLER FUNERAL HOME, 980 Bennetts Mills Rd., Jackson Twp., NJ 08527. A funeral service will be offered on Wednesday, May 9, 2018, at 3:00 PM at the funeral home. A private cremation will follow. Lawrence’s cremains will be interred in Maple Grove Cemetery, Queens, NY at a later date. If so desired, donations may be made in Lawrence’s memory to Alzheimer's of NJ, 425 Eagle Rock Ave., Suite 203, Roseland, NJ 07068.
