Nicolina "Lee" Capezzuto

Obituary

Nicolina “Lee” Capezzuto, 71, of Lincoln Park, passed away on May 29, 2018.

Born in Leonia, Lee grew up in West New York, NJ and lived in Cliffside Park, Fairview, and River Edge before moving to Lincoln Park. She retired from the Port Authority where she worked in Tower 1 after 38 years and then worked for the Pompton Lakes School System and Boniello’s Restaurant. Lee was a parishioner of Holy Spirit RC Church in Pequannock where she also served as a eucharistic minister.

Lee is survived by her sister, Anna Polster and her husband, Anthony George; her nieces, VikkiAnn Boniello and her husband Tony, and Jeannie Banker and her husband Daniel; her nephew, Tony Polster and his partner Janice; her great nieces and nephews, Bianca, Karli and Brooke Boniello, Jenna and Danny Banker and his partner Laura, Taylor Polster, Owen Banker and Jessica Kellenbach. She was predeceased by her parents, Antoinette Violante Capezzuto and Angelo Capezzuto.

Visiting hours will be held from 4 to 8 pm Wednesday, May 30 at the M. John Scanlan Funeral Home, Pompton Plains. A funeral Mass will be held 11 am Thursday at Holy Spirit RC Church, Pequannock. Cremation will be private.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to Pompton Lakes High School in memory of Lee Capezzuto.
