Pedro Alej (Al) Ancheta December 27, 1953 – May 13, 2018 Obituary Pedro A. Ancheta, A.K.A. Al Ancheta, 64, of Linden, N.J. passed away on Sunday, May 13, 2018. Relatives and friends are kindly invited to attend the funeral on Thursday, May 17, 2018 from the Werson Funeral Home, 635 North Wood Avenue, Linden, at 9:15 A.M. The Funeral Mass will be at St. John the Apostle Church, Clark/Linden at 10 A.M. Cremation will be private. Visiting hours are on Wednesday, May 16th from 4-8 P.M. Al was born in Quezon City, Philippines, came to the U.S. at the age of 18, lived in California for many years, then Queens, N.Y., settling in Linden in 1985. He was employed by the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey in Jersey City, N.J. as an accountant for 21 years. Al enjoyed going to church every day.
Surviving are his beloved wife of 40 years, JoAnn F.
Ancheta, his sister, Irna Lopez, 3 brothers, Edmond,
Lester, and Winston Ancheta, and many nieces and
nephews.
