Glenn George Whyte

Obituary

Glenn George Whyte, U.S. Army vet , father and grandfather Glenn George Whyte, 73, formerly of Sayreville, N.J., passed away on November 6, 2017 at his daughter's home in Cherry Hill, N.J.

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Wednesday from 7pm to 9pm at the Healey Funeral Home, 1816 Berlin Rd. (Route 561), Cherry Hill, N.J. 08003.

His Committal Service with military honors will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. at Gates of Heaven Cemetery, 225 Ridgevale Ave., East Hanover, N.J. 07936. healeyfuneralhomes.com

Glenn served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War, and subsequently worked as a civil surveyor with the Port Authority of NY/NJ, from where he retired.

Glenn was predeceased by his former wife, Patricia Katherine Whyte (nee Finnerty). He is lovingly survived by his daughter, Pamela (Troy) Spencer; his two sons, Glenn and Nick Whyte; his two grandsons, Troy Jonathan and Myles Patrick Spencer, along with his sister, Bernice Whyte of Taylor, Pa.
