Obituary

William T. Salvatori, 62 of The Villages, Florida passed away on Monday May 1st, 2017 surrounded by his loved ones. Born in Jersey City ,N.J.,

Bill lived most of his life in Secaucus and Little Ferry, NJ. Before retiring to Florida with his beloved wife of almost 29 years Stephanie. Bill worked for the Port Authority of NY & NJ for 28 years and was known affectionately to his co-workers as "Sal". He retired as a Chief in the TBA training academy.

Bill was a proud member of both the Secaucus and Little Ferry Volunteer Fire Departments over a 37 year span. On the morning of September 11th, 2001 Bill responded without hesitation to the terrorist attack at the WTC. For months Bill worked along side so many others performing rescue and recovery operations. Bill is survived by his wife, children and grandchildren.
