Charles T. Ness January 24, 2017 Obituary Charles T. Ness - Port Authority retiree Charles T. Ness, 69, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 24,2017. Friends are invited to visit from 4 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 31, at the Dooley Funeral Home, 218 North Ave. West in Cranford, N.J. Born in Manhattan, Mr. Ness lived in Cranford for many years. He worked for 37 years for the Port Authority, retiring as a manager at Newark Airport. In his spare time, he enjoyed golf. Mr. Ness was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth, and by his parents, Charles and Anne. He is survived by his brother, Arthur, and sister-in-law, Tina; and his step-daughters, Joanne M.
