LEONARD - Philip J. of Bellerose, NY and Aurora, CO on June 9, 2017 at age 96.

Predeceased by his wife Joan. Loving father of Kevin (Mary), Teresa (Don) Marshall, Maureen (John) Lopez and the late Dennis P. Leonard and John M. Leonard. Devoted grandfather to Brian, Patrick, Mark, Leonard, Riley Lopez, Jennifer and Jessica Marshall, Dawn Rothman, Jason Leonard & Amy Scirocco and 7 great grandchildren. Also survived by his sisters Bette Hoare & Ann (Brian) Quinlan and his brother, Gerard Leonard & numerous nieces and nephews.

Phil was a retired WWII Navy Veteran & retired policeman of the Port Authority of NY/NJ. Friends may visit at the R. Stutzmann & Son Funeral Home 224-39 Jamaica Ave., Queens Village on Wednesday from 4-8 PM. Funeral Mass Thursday 9:45 AM at St. Gregory the Great RC Church, Bellerose. Interment St. John's Cemetery, Middle Village. Charitable donations may be made in Phil's honor to the American Cancer Society. www.cancer.org
