						Thomas Kenneth Lapinski; 83, died peacefully on 
						Thursday, August 3rd, 2017 at the Jersey Shore Medical 
						Center, surrounded by his loving family.
						
						Thomas was born in Bayonne, NJ, and resided there until 
						1999, when he moved to Manahawkin, NJ. He worked for the 
						Hudson County Prosecutor's Office as a Homicide 
						Detective for 15 years, prior to that he was a Detective 
						for the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey for over 
						25 years. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Army 
						during the Korean Conflict {1954-1956}.
						
						Beloved Husband of Claire (Nee:Murray). Devoted Father 
						of Denise Lapinski Bock and her Husband Thomas, Kevin 
						Kenneth Lapinski and his Wife Susan, and the late Karen 
						Lynn Lapinski. Cherished Grandfather of Lauren Bock, 
						Alexandra Bock, Jillian Lapinski, and Kevin J. Lapinski. 
						Loving Brother of Frances Larson and her Husband Arthur, 
						Barbara Dunwoody and her late Husband Richard, and the 
						late Carole VanSant and her surviving Husband George. He 
						is also survived by several Nieces & Nephews. He was 
						predeceased by his Dear Parents Estelle (Nee:Elchak) and 
						Thomas Lapinski.
						
						Relatives and Friends are invited to attend the Viewing 
						on Tuesday, August 8, 2017 from 4:00pm - 8:00pm at the 
						G. Keenen O'Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne. A 
						Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday, August 9th at 
						10:00am at Blessed Miriam Teresa Demjanovich Parish at 
						Saint Mary Star of the Sea Church, Bayonne. Entombment 
						to follow, Holy Cross Chapel Mausoleum, North Arlington,
