Obituary

On July 21, 2016 Fred McEvoy of Aviation Department died at the age of 92. Fred was in the Army during WWII stationed in the Pacific theatre of operations against Japan.

He joined the Port Authority in 1950 and worked as a claims adjuster in the Law Department. He successfully became a Principal Property Representative in the Aviation Department working at JFK Airport in the Business Administration Division responsible for all Cargo facilities at the Airport.

He subsequently retired in 1987 and lived a long and happy life.

His funeral Mass is today and he will be buried in Calverton Military Cemetery.
