						Obituary
						
						Gilbert 
						Keough, age 56 of Sayreville, passed away Friday July 1, 
						2016 at his home. Born in Manhattan, he had resided in 
						Sayreville for the past 12 years. Gilbert was a Network 
						Tech for the Port Authority of NY/NJ for 36 years.
						He is 
						predeceased by his parents James and Margaret Keough and 
						his brother James Keough.
						Surviving are his wife of 9 years, the former Diane 
						Schrieber, his son Gilbert Jr., his siblings Barbara 
						Devaney, Margaret Barnable, Mary Slane, Carol Keough, 
						Cathy Bogle, Daniel Keough, his former spouse Patricia 
						Clayton and many nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
						Funeral 
						services will be Wednesday 9:30am from the Carmen F. 
						Spezzi Funeral Home 15 Cherry Lane Parlin with a 10:30am 
						funeral mass to follow at St. Ambrose RC Church in Old 
						Bridge. A private cremation will follow.
						Calling 
						hours at the funeral home will be Monday from 7pm to 
						9pm, and Tuesday from 5pm to 9pm.
						In lieu of 
						flowers, the family requests that donations be made in

						His friends at the Port Authority were saddened to learn 
						of the passing of Gilbert E. Keough on Friday, July 1. 
						Mr. Keough is survived by his wife, Diane, and son 
						Gilbert.
						
						Mr. Keough joined the Port Authority on July 23, 1979. 
						At the time of his death, he held the position of Senior 
						Technical Assistant in the Technology Department’s 
						Computer Operations Division at the Teleport.
						
						Friends and relatives will be received at the Carmen F. 
						Spezzi Funeral Home, 15 Cherry Lane, Parlin, NJ on 
						Tuesday, July 5 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. 
						
						A funeral service will be held at 10:30 a.m. on 
						Wednesday, July 6 at St. Ambrose Roman Catholic Church, 
						83 Throckmorton Lane, Old Bridge, NJ, with a private 
						cremation service to follow.
