Georges Destin March 3, 1936 - August 9, 2016 Obituary Georges Destin Longtime East Orange resident, 80 Georges Destin, 80, of East Orange, N.J., passed away peacefully on Aug. 9, 2016. Funeral services will take place on Wednesday, Aug. 17, at 11 a.m. at Messiah Baptist Church, 13-17 Oak St., East Orange, N.J. Visitation will be at the church on Tuesday evening from 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Entombment is at Hollywood Memorial Park in Union, N.J. Arrangements are by Woody "Home for Services " of Orange. Born in Haiti, Mr. Destin was a longtime resident of East Orange, retiree of Port Authority of New York and New Jersey, and faithful member of Messiah Baptist Church.
Mr. Destin is survived by his beloved wife, Annette M.,
and devoted sons, Georges L. Sr., Antoine J., Cliff G.,
Jason M., and Dave E. He also leaves four grandchildren,
two siblings, other relatives, and friends. |
