William P. Bonny

Obituary

William P. Bonny “Bill” “Willie” “Paka”, 69 of Little Egg Harbor, NJ passed away at home on Friday July 22, 2016.

Born in New York City he lived in Washington Heights and Hazlet, NJ before moving to Little Egg Harbor 13 years ago.

He served honorably in the US Navy during the Vietnam War and was a member of the American Legion. He worked as a Field Supervisor for the Port Authority at Newark Liberty International Airport and enjoyed singing, travel, and karaoke. 
He was predeceased by his parents Edward and Isabella Bonny and his first wife Rosemary Bonny.

He is survived by his loving wife of 20 years Toni Bonny, son William “Bill” Bonny of Absecon, daughter Bernadette Bonny of Hazlet, step-daughters Vicki Cop (Matt) and Sharon Soldi (Angelo), brother Edward "Tommy" Bonny, his wife Pat of Kearny, grandchildren Samantha (Sunflower) and Kevin, step grandchildren Angelo and Diana, cousins Laura, Joey, Doris, Amy, Carolyn and Janice plus nieces and nephews.

Viewing hours will be on Wednesday July 27, 2016 from 2:00pm to 4:00pm and 7:00pm to 9:00pm and Thursday July 28 from 9:30am to 10:30am at Maxwell Funeral Home 160 Mathistown Rd Little Egg Harbor, NJ 08087. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday at 11:00am at St. Theresa’s Church, Little Egg Harbor followed by burial at St. Mary’s Cemetery, Manahawkin.
