His friends at the Port Authority were saddened to learn of the passing of Gerard Simms on Thursday, May 14, 2015. Mr. Simms is survived by his children, Ashley, Christopher and Nicholas.

Mr. Simms joined the Port Authority on March 18, 1985. At the time of his death, he held the position of Operations Group Supervisor in the Real Estate and Development Department.

Friends will be received at the Marine Park Funeral Home, 3024 Quentin Road, Brooklyn, New York on Monday, May 18, and Tuesday, May 19, 2015. Viewing will be from 2:00 p.m. – 5:00 p.m. and 7:00 p.m. – 9:00 p.m.

A Funeral service will be held at 9:00 a.m. on Wednesday, May 20, 2015 at the Marine Park Funeral Home, Quentin Road, Brooklyn, New York.
