Charles W. Lanzafane

Obituary

CHARLES W. LANZAFANE away Friday, January 9, 2015. He was 88. Born in Brooklyn, NY he resided there before moving to East Brunswick in 1961.

Prior to his retirement, he was an engineer for the Port Authority, Manhattan, NY for 35 years. He was a Navy veteran of World War II, having served from 1944-1946. Mr. Lanzafane was a communicant of St. Bartholomew R.C Church, East Brunswick. He was a past member of the Centurions Italian American Club, and VFW Post 133 of East Brunswick.

He was predeceased by his brother James. Surviving are his devoted wife of 65 years, Mary Curcio Lanzafane; a son, James and his wife Jo-Ann of Framingham, MA; two daughters, Mary Lanzafane Fried and her husband Steven of Cranford, and Carol Smith of East Brunswick; Two sisters, Joan Sarlo and her husband Daniel of Monroe Township, and Marion Termini of Cummings, GA; and five grandchildren, Jay, Justin, Sean, Kelsey and Eric.

Funeral Services will be held Tuesday, 8:45 AM, at THE BRUNSWICK MEMORIAL HOME, 454 Cranbury Road, East Brunswick, followed by a 9:30 AM Mass of Christian Burial at St. Bartholomew RC Church, East Brunswick. Entombment will follow at Woodbridge Memorial Gardens, Woodbridge. Friends may call the funeral home on Monday, from 4-8 PM.
