Angelo M. Iorio

March 6, 1932 - January 3, 2015

Obituary

Angelo M. Iorio, entered into eternal life Jan. 3, 2015 at his home. Born in Jersey City, the son of the late Maria (Mastromonaco) & Antonio Iorio, he lived the last 25 years in Ridgefield Park. A graduate of Holy Rosary Elementary School and Ferris High School, he served honorably in the United States Army.

He was a Police Officer for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey for 22 years, retiring in 1981.  He was one of a kind, a unique; fun-loving family man who brought a smile to everyone's' face. He will be truly missed and always remembered. He was a lifelong Yankees and Giants fan.

Beloved husband for fifty three years to Jo Ann Faccone Iorio. Devoted father of Anthony & his wife Nancy, Mary Jo Esposito, Christopher & his wife Marilyn. Loving grandfather of Anthony, Matthew, Ava Rose, Rafaella & Angelia Iorio. Son-in-law of Caroline and the late Anthony Faccone. Dear brother of the late Louis Iorio and Rose DeMario. Also survived by 4 caring sisters-in-law & their husbands & several nieces & nephews.

Visitation is Monday from 2:00pm - 8:00pm at GREENVILLE MEMORIAL HOME 374 Danforth Ave. Jersey City www.greenvillememorialhome.com   Funeral Tue. Jan. 6, 2015 at 10:00am from funeral home. Mass Holy Rosary Church 344 Sixth St. Jersey City at 11:30am Burial Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington.
