Obituary

Vincent D’Antonio age 77 born March 18, 1938 “Vinny” of Hoboken, formally of New York City departed on May 31, 2015 surrounded by his loving family.

Son of the late Michele and Victoria of NYC, beloved and dedicated husband of 48 years to Connie (Armetta), cherished father of Michael, Victoria, and Nadine, endeared father-in-law to Susan, and Sean. Proud “Pop Pop” to Gabriella, Michael Jr. and Giana. He also leaves behind his furry friend Duchess and joins his cat Pookie.

Vincent was a devoted and dedicated employee of the Port Authority of NY and NJ for 38 years in the Maintenance Department at the Holland Tunnel. After his retirement he worked for CarePoint Hospital Hoboken in Transportation. In his retirement he spent many happy days in the Poconos with his family tinkering with many projects. He loved to cook. He was an avid Yankee Fan, and loved to recite Yankee history. He will be missed.

The Funeral Mass will be offered on Wednesday June 3, 2015 at St. Francis R.C. Church Hoboken at 10:00am. A private cremation will follow.

Visitation will be held on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9pm. Valet Parking available in rear of memorial home off 6th street.
