In Memory of Edith E. Bishop October 21, 2015 Obituary Edith E. Bishop, of Somers died at age 87 on Wednesday, October 21, 2015. She was born in Westhampton, NY, the daughter of the late Frank and Alice (Howell) Bishop. Educated in Westhampton and Manhattan, she enjoyed a career of nearly 40 years with The Port Authority of New York and New Jersey. Edith was a member of The First Presbyterian Church of Katonah, where she served as an elder and a deacon. Edith is survived by a brother, Lester of Mesa, AZ, many nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her sisters: Shirley Hollingsworth and Ellenor Hann and a brother, Gerard Bishop. A Memorial Service will be held at 2:00pm on November 14, 2015 at The First Presbyterian Church of Katonah, 31 Bedford Road, Katonah, NY. Interment was held at the Westhampton Cemetery on October 30, 2015.
