STATEN 
						ISLAND, N.Y. -- Joan M. Wolfe, 81, of Grasmere, a 
						retired secretary, who was devoted to her family, died 
						Tuesday in Richmond University Medical Center, West 
						Brighton.
						
						Born Joan Murphy in 
						Brooklyn, she moved to Grasmere in 1964.
						
						Mrs. Wolfe worked for 15 
						years as a secretary for the Port Authority of NY/NJ. 
						She retired in 1995.
						
						She was a member of the 
						Ladies Ancient Order of  Hibernians.  Mrs. Wolfe enjoyed 
						traveling to Atlantic City, Florida and the Pocono 
						Mountains, her favorite.
						
						She was a parishioner of 
						St. Sylvester’s R.C. Church.  Her husband of 56 
						years, Raymond, died in 2014.
						
						She is survived by two 
						sons, Raymond and Michael; three daughters, Patricia 
						Best, Loretta Low and Mary Lou O’Callahan; a brother, 
						Michael Murphy; two sisters, Patricia McIntyre and 
						Dolores Jarboe; 15 grandchildren and five great 
						grandchildren.
						
						The funeral will be 
						Saturday from the Casey Funeral Home, Castleton Corners, 
						with a mass at 9:30 a.m. in St. Sylvester’s Church. 
						Burial will follow in Resurrection Cemetery, Pleasant
