						EDWARD G. RATYNIAK was surrounded by his family during 
                        his peaceful passing at home on Friday, November 7, 
                        2014.  
						
						
						
						He was 59. Born and raised in Jersey City, Edward moved 
                        to Bayonne to raise his family. Edward was the 
                        Supervisor of Operations for Port Authority of NY and NJ 
                        at Newark Airport He was devoted to his family and was 
                        the best father and was actively involved in the lives 
                        of his children and grandchildren.  
						
						
						
						Edward enjoyed music and his summers at Lavallette. All 
                        who were lucky enough to know Edward will miss him 
                        dearly. Edward is survived by his mother, Mary (nee 
                        Wolfe) Ratyniak, his wife Jayne (nee Wickham) Ratyniak, 
                        his 3 children, Eddie Ratyniak (Bayonne FD) and his wife 
                        Susanrae (nee Ganghamer), Jayne and Monica Ratyniak; his 
                        sisters, Marianne and her husband Edward Zaucha, Joan 
                        Bailey, Susan and her husband Bobby Komorowski, Beth and 
                        her husband Robin Radil, Denise and her husband John 
                        Strich (JCFD); and brother Kenneth Ratyniak (JCFD) and 
                        his wife Kerry. He is the beloved Poppy to his 
                        grandchildren, Grace and baby Eddie. Edward is also 
                        survived by a host of extended family and lifelong 
                        friends whom he loved very much.  
						
						
						
						Visitation will be at McLaughlin Funeral Home, 625 
                        Pavonia Avenue, Jersey City on Sunday from 6-9pm and 
                        Monday from 2-4 & 6-9pm. Relatives and friends are 
                        invited to assemble at McLaughlin Funeral Home on 
                        Tuesday, November 11, 2014 at 9am prior to the Mass of 
                        Christian Burial at St. Michael's Church, Jersey City at 
                        10am.
