Obituary
Alexander
Horelik, 91, of Bayville, NJ died on Sunday June 29,
2014. He was born in Jersey City, NJ then lived in
Paramus, NJ for 25 years before moving to Bayville, NJ
20 years ago.
Alexander served his country in the Army Air corps
during WWII and was a member of the Disabled American
Veterans. He was the past councilman for both St. Peter
and Paul Orthodox Church in Jersey City, NJ and Christ
the Savior Orthodox Church in Paramus, NJ. He was an
active member of the Orthodox Christian Church of the
Annunciation, Brick, NJ.
Alexander worked for Scott Paper in Jersey City and then
worked in the maintenance department at the Lincoln
tunnel for the Port Authority, NY, NJ
He was predeceased by his parents Vladimir and Mary
Horelick and his sister Anastasia Horelick.
Surviving are his sisters Mary Herelick and Catherine
Ratushnuk both of Bayville, NJ. Nephew Myron Ratushnuk
and his wife Lori of Scottsdale, AZ; Great Niece
Anastasia and several Godchildren.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday July 2, 2014
from 2-4 & 6-8pm at the Orthodox Christian Church of the
Annunciation. A Divine Liturgy will be offered Thursday
July 3, 2014 10am at the Orthodox Christian Church of
the Annunciation, Brick, NJ. Burial to follow at
Graceland Memorial Park Kenilworth, NJ. The Timothy E.
Ryan Home for Funerals 145 St Catherine Blvd. Toms
River, NJ is in charge of arrangements.
