In Memory of Lawrence (“Larry”) S. Hofrichter September 3, 2014
THE PORT AUTHORITY OF NEW
YORK AND NEW JERSEY LAW DEPARTMENT BROADCAST
We were saddened to learn of the passing of former
Deputy General Counsel Lawrence (“Larry”) S. Hofrichter,
on Tuesday, September 2, 2014. Prior to his retirement
in July 2012, Larry served the Port Authority for more
than 40 plus years, as a trusted counselor, mentor and
friend. In April 2004, Larry was awarded The Robert F.
Wagner Distinguished Public Service Medal for his
outstanding professional ability, practical judgment,
personal integrity and dedication demonstrated during
his then 32 years of Port Authority service.
