DAWKINS, 
						Robert T., 70, of Henrico, departed this life Wednesday, 
						January 22, 2014. He was born in Whitmire, S.C., the 
						only child of Woodrow and Naomi Dawkins.  
						
						
						Bob was a 
						police officer with the Port Authority of New York -New 
						Jersey, retiring after 20 years of service.  
						
						
						He leaves to 
						cherish his memory a devoted wife of 45 years, Brenda M. 
						Dawkins; two sons, Brian K. and Mack Horne (Pam); 
						daughter, Robin N.; one mother-in-law, Bertha; eight 
						grandchildren, Alexis, Briana, Catherine, Dorian, 
						Tatiana, Alexander, Erick and Maxine; and a host of 
						relatives and friends. He was an avid lover of crossword 
						puzzles and the New York Yankees.  
						
						
						Bob was a devoted 
						caregiver to his greatest love, his wife. Bob will be 
						remembered for his love of cooking and trying new 
						recipes. His family and friends will remember him as a 
						great man, wonderful father and grandfather.  
						
						
						The family 
						will receive friends from 4 to 8 p.m. Sunday, January 
						26, 2014 at the Parham Chapel-Woody Funeral Home, and 
						where services will be held Monday, January 27, 2014 at 
						12 noon. Interment Westhampton Memorial Park.
