In Memory of William James Connell November 30, 1946 - July 26, 2014 Obituary
Bill was born in New York City and had lived in Staten Island, Howell Twp., and Freehold Twp. before moving to Jackson in 2008. He was a graduate of Wagner College and served in the U.S. Army during Vietnam. Bill retired as a maintenance supervisor for the Port Authority of New York and New Jersey after thirty-six years. Bill was predeceased by his wife, Lucille in 1995. He is survived by his sons, Dylan Connell and his wife, Carley of Jackson Twp. and Ryan Connell of Jackson Twp.; three grand children, Taylor, Aaron, Hailey Lou; and a sister, Patricia Brooks of Staten Island. A visitation will be held at the Clayton & McGirr Funeral Home, 100 Elton-Adelphia Road (Route 524), Freehold Township on Tuesday, July 29, 2014 from 2:00 to 4:00 and 7:00 to 9:00 PM. Relatives and friends are invited to attend his 11:00 AM funeral service at the funeral home on Wednesday, July 30, 2014. Interment will follow in St. Rose of Lima Catholic Cemetery, Freehold.
