Her friends at the Port Authority were saddened to learn of the passing of Maryellen Yurek on Friday, December 6, 2013. Ms. Yurek is survived by her children Ashley and Cody. Ms. Yurek joined the Port Authority on October 1, 2012. At the time of her death, she held the position of Part-Time Toll Collector in the Tunnels, Bridges and Terminals Department. Friends will be received at G. Keenen O’Brien Funeral Home, 984 Avenue C, Bayonne, NJ on Friday, December 13, 2013, from 5:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. A funeral mass will be held at 9:30 a.m. on Saturday, December 14 at St. Mary, Star of the Sea Church, Bayonne, NJ. Cremation will follow at the Rosehill Crematory, Linden, NJ. Patrick J. Foye Executive Director
