His friends at the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation were saddened to learn of the passing of Lawson Strawder on Wednesday, April 10, 2013. Mr. Strawder is survived by his wife, Avis, and his children, Ashley and Lawson.

Mr. Strawder joined the Port Authority Trans-Hudson Corporation on July 22, 1991. At the time of his death, he held the position of Electrician in the Car Equipment Division.

Friends will be received at the Whigham Funeral Home, 580 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Newark, NJ on Friday, April 19, 2013 from 9:00 a.m. to 11:00 a.m.

A funeral service will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Friday, April 19, 2013 at the Whigham Funeral Home, 580 Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. Blvd., Newark, NJ.
