
						
						Gil 
						was born September 14, 1932.   
						
He lived most of his 
						childhood in Japan as an Army brat where he was known 
						for his practical jokes.  He joined the Air Force and 
						served during the Korean War and after an honorable 
						discharge he joined the Port Authority Police serving 
						most of his years as a Police Lieutenant for 38 years at 
						the GWB. 
						
						He 
						loved to laugh and was well known for his cartoons. He 
						retired to Lake Saint Catherine in Vermont with his wife 
						 
						
of 15 years Kathy.  He loved boating on the lake with his 
						son Mike and wife Jan, his daughter Doreen and son in 
						law Charlie and his granddaughters Emily and Kathy.
						
						
						
						He 
						was a member of the Lake Association and worked with the 
						State Police on the lake videotaping speeders. He 
						proudly wore his Port Authority Police hat every day of 
						his retirement.  He used his artistic talents 
						drawing logos for many an area business and his cartoons 
						to bring laughter to lighten a heavy heart.
