William J. Purvin

PURVIN William J., 71, of Leonia, NJ, formerly of North Bergen NJ passed away on Thursday January 5, 2012. Born in Jersey City he was a retired electrician for the Port Authority of NY and NJ in Newark.

Beloved husband of Marilyn (nee Minichiello) Purvin. Devoted father of William Purvin Jr. and his wife Dawn Cappadona, Michael Purvin and his wife Ann LaCarrubba, Kevin Purvin and his wife Carrie Purvin. Loving grandfather of Eva, Kyle and Matthew. Dear brother of Diane Marshall and brother-in-law of Frank Minichiello.

Funeral on Monday January 9, 2012 at 9 AM from the Vainieri Funeral Home, 5923 Kennedy Blvd North Bergen NJ Mass at 10 AM at St Johns Church, 470 Broad Ave. Leonia. Interment at Holy Cross Cemetery, North Arlington, NJ Visitation will be on Sunday from 4-8 PM. In lieu of flowers, please make donations to the St. Judes Children Foundation or Tomorrows Children in Hackensack.
