Carmela (nee Picciano), on January 5, 2012 of West New York, NJ, age 71. Carmela was born on March 1, 1940 in Italy.  She came to the U.S. in 1947 and had worked as a secretary for the Port Authority of N.Y. and N.J. in N.Y.C.

Beloved wife to Gennaro. Devoted mother to Maria Moreira and her husband Dean, Filomena Fumia and her husband Jose and Donato and his wife Lissette. Adored grandmother to Kristen Fumia, Michael Fumia, Nicole Moreira, Gabriella Fumia, Brittney Moreira, Nicholas Marinelli, Gabriel Marinelli and Jonathan Marinelli. Dear sister to Pasquale Picciano and Tina Mercogliano.

Funeral from the A.K. Macagna Funeral Home 495 Anderson Avenue Cliffside Park, NJ on Monday, January 9, 2012 at 8 AM, thence to St. Matthew R.C. Church in Ridgefield where a Funeral Mass will be offered at 9 AM. Entombment to follow at Flower Hill Mausoleum in North Bergen.
