
						Joseph J. Kresse

Joseph J. Kresse, 53, of Long Valley, NJ passed away on 
						Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Joe was born on July 6, 
						1959 in New York City, NY. He has lived in Long Valley 
						for the past eight years and was previously of Middle 
						Village, NY. Joe was a Police officer for the Emergency 
						Services Unit of the Port Authority of NY and NJ. He had 
						his Bachelor's degree and was a Certified Teacher of 
						Mathematics. Joe loved hockey, math, and music.
						
						Joe is survived by his wife of 29 years, Darlene Kresse; 
						his children Nicole, Joseph, Michelle and Jack Kresse; 
						his mother Ellen L. Kresse and Ira Fishman; and his many 
						nieces and nephews.
						
						Visitation will be held on Sunday, September 30 from 
						4-8pm at the William J Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace 
						Road (corner of Rt. 206), Chester, NJ (908) 879-3090. A 
						10am funeral service will be held on Monday, October 1 
						at the funeral home. 
						
						Interment will follow at Union 
						Cemetery in Hackettstown, NJ. In lieu of flowers, 
						memorial donations may be made to the American Heart 
						Association , American Heart Association , 1 Union

						IN MEMORIAM
						
						His friends at the Port Authority 
						were saddened to learn of the passing of Joseph J. 
						Kresse on Tuesday, September 25, 2012. Mr. Kresse is 
						survived by his wife, Darlene, daughter, Michelle and 
						sons, Joseph and Jack.
						
						Mr. Kresse joined the Port 
						Authority on September 28, 1987.  At the time of his 
						death, he held the position of Police Officer in the 
						Public Safety Department.
						
						Friends will be received at the 
						William J. Leber Funeral Home, 15 Furnace Road, Chester, 
						NJ on Sunday, September 30, 2012 from 4:00 p.m. to 8:00 
						p.m.  Funeral services will be held at 10:00 a.m. on 
						Monday, October 1 at the William J. Leber Funeral Home.  
						Interment will follow at Union Cemetery in Hackettstown, 
						NJ.
