Edward M., Jr., 77, of Harrington Park, NJ, passed away on Friday, September 30, 2011. Ed was born in Teaneck, NJ, son of Edward, Sr. and Louise Hasse (nee Greene). Beloved husband of Barbara A. Hasse (nee Rainey). Devoted father of Rev. Edward M, Hasse, III, and his wife Melissa, Amy Morgan and her husband Steven, Pamela King and her husband John. Dear brother of Gladys Waski, Elizabeth Wilkes, Joyce Peake and the late Richard Jeune and his wife Sarah. Loving grandfather of Emily, Erik, Kelsey, Kimmy, Jenny, Megan, Stephanie and John.

Ed was Tunnel Systems Controller at the Lincoln Tunnel for the Port Authority of NY/NJ and a licensed electrical contractor. He was an Army Veteran of the Korean War having served in Germany with the 4th Infantry Division. He was an Eagle Scout and a member of the American Legion. He was a longtime member of St. Andrew's Church in Harrington Park where he served on the vestry, ushers committee and was the founder of the Tuesday Group.

Family and friends will gather for the Funeral Service at St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, Harrington Park, NJ on Monday at 10 AM. Cremation will be private. The family will receive their relatives and friends at Becker Funeral Home, 219 Kinderkamack Road, Westwood, NJ on Sunday, 1-4 and 6-9 PM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in Ed's name to St. Andrew's Episcopal Church, 31 Lynn Street, Harrington Park, NJ 07640.
