Charles Fitzgerald, 74 . North Brunswick

Charles E. Fitzgerald of North Brunswick, died Tuesday, Sept. 13, 2011 at home. He was 74 years old. Born in NYC, he grew up in North Bergen NJ before moving to North Brunswick in 1991. Mr. Fitzgerald was employed by the Port of Authority for 33 years before retiring in 1996. Charlie treasured being surrounded by the love and comfort of his family.

He is survived by his wife of 54 years, Ann Lorraine; two daughters, Dorinda Arthur and Dawn Duarte and their spouses James and Tomas; seven grandchildren, Ian, Bryan, Christina, Rebecca, TJ, Christine and Vincent.

Visitation will be Friday, September 16th from 2-4 PM and 7-9PM at the Gleason Funeral Home 1360 Hamilton Street in Somerset. A Funeral mass will be held on Saturday 9:30 AM at Our Lady of Peace in North Brunswick. Cremation to follow.
