Anthony 
							Romanchuk Jr., a resident of Livingston, N.J., 
							since 1981, died at age 79, on Sunday, March 28, 
							2010. A Funeral Mass is in St. Philomena's Church, 
							396 S. Livingston Ave., Livingston, N.J., on Monday, 
							April 5, 2010, at 10 a.m. Interment follows at Long 
							Island National Cemetery, Farmingdale, N.Y. 
							
							
							The family will receive their 
							friends at Quinn-Hopping Funeral Home, 145 E. Mount 
							Pleasant Ave., Livingston, N.J., on Friday, April 2, 
							from 7 to 9 p.m., and Saturday, April 3, from 3 to 7 
							p.m. There will be no visitation on Easter Sunday. A 
							veteran of the Korean War, Anthony served on the 
							Aircraft Carrier
							
							USS Antietam, and 
							was awarded the Air Medal. 
							
							He was employed by the Port 
							Authority of New York and New Jersey for over 33 
							years. He first served as a police officer at the 
							Holland Tunnel and then went on to airport 
							operations at JFK. In 1987, Anthony retired as 
							assistant chief of terminal services at Newark 
							Airport. Locally, he was a member of the American 
							Legion Post 201 of Livingston. 
							
							Anthony is survived by his 
							daughter, Maryann and her husband, Carlos; 
							granddaughters, Rachel and Leanna; brothers, William 
							and Taras, and a sister, Sonia. In lieu of flowers, 
							donations in his memory may be made to the 
							Livingston First Aid Squad, 62 S. Livingston Ave., 
							Livingston, N.J. 07039.
