AGE: 71 ASBURY PARK
Bernadette M. Foti, 71, of Asbury Park, died Sunday, Aug. 29, 2010, at her oceanfront residence in Asbury Park. Bernadette was born in Brooklyn, lived in Staten Island then Middletown before moving to Asbury Park. She was a homemaker, loving mother, wife and a Brookdale Community College graduate. Bernadette loved looking at the surf and taking care of her cat, Darla.

Bernadette is survived by her husband, Salvatore Foti Jr.; two sons, Gregg Foti and his wife, Karen of Los Angeles, and Bruce Foti and his partner, John Anderson of Asbury Park; and a friend and caregiver, Yolanda Ricks.

Visitation will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 2, with a prayer service at 7:30 p.m. in Buckley Funeral Home, 509 Second Ave., Asbury Park. Interment will be private.
