Born in Philadelphia, Pa, on May 21, 1955, to Dorothea Cook and the late William Cook. Adrienne attended Cardinal Dougherty High School. After graduating high school she attended Temple University where she earned her Bachelors Associate Degree. Adrienne worked for New York Port Authority as a management development instructor for 10 years, and then she worked for Independence Blue Cross for 18 years where she held several positions. Adrienne was a supervisor of the Training Dept. Training was her life. New hires at IBC loved to be trained by her. Adrienne also had the opportunity to train the Philadelphia 911 Urgent Situation Dept. where she was awarded a citation for such an excellent job that was well done.

Adrienne was united in marriage to Donovan Miles on June 21, 1990, with this union was born a son, Donovan Miles (JR). She enjoyed being a wife and a mother. Adrienne will always be remembered by her beautiful smile and her laughter. Her generosity and interest and love just for people, was so well known to anyone who came in contact with her. The love of her life was her husband and her son. JR was truly the most important asset in her life. Adrienne will be sadly missed by her husband Donovan and son JR, her mother Dorothea (Dot), her in-laws Theresa Cameron, Wenworth B. Miles, her aunt Marjorie Grays, her very best friend Bernadette (Bernie) and a host of family, friends, neighbors and coworkers.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend her visitation on Saturday, 11:00am to 12:00pm at the LeRoy P. Wooster Funeral Home, 441 White Horse Pike, Atco, NJ 08004 (856) 767-0539. A life celebration service will begin at 12:00pm. Interment will be private at the convenience of the family.
