David J. Broderick, 
						73, of Washington Township, Warren County, died Aug. 8 
						in Easton Hospital, Easton Pa.  He was born in 
						Jersey City May 16, 1936, son of the late Edward and 
						Helen Grady Broderick Sr.
						
						He was a NY/NJ Port Authority Police Officer for over 20 
						years stationed mostly Kennedy Airport, Since retiring, 
						he had worked as a Postal Carrier out of the Washington 
						Post Office. He graduated Jersey City High School and 
						attended Staten Island Community College.
						
						He enjoyed golfing and bowling.  He and his wife 
						Phyllis enjoyed traveling in their motor home to dog 
						shows to show their beagles and English Spaniels.  
						He was a member of Morris Hills Dog Training Club.
						Surviving are his wife, the former Phyllis Gugliemini; 
						daughters Donna Skala of Saylorsburg Pa. and Lynda 
						Kreuser and her husband Kenneth of Wappinger Falls N.Y.; 
						three grandchildren, Ryan D. Kreuser of Poughkeepsie N.Y, 
						Elyse M. Kreuser of Wappinger Falls N.Y., and Dean M. 
						Skala of Saylorsburg Pa.; a brother, William Broderick 
						and his wife Jane of Arlington; and a sister, Helen 
						Burns and her husband Robert of Bloomington, Ind.  
						In addition to his parents he is predeceased by three 
						brothers, Edward Jr,, Gerald and Alan, and two sisters 
						Barbara Broderick McFadden and Margaret Z Broderick.
						
						A Funeral Mass will be 
						celebrated on Thursday, Aug. 13 at 10 a.m. in St. Rose 
						of Lima Catholic Church, Academy Street, Oxford. The 
						visitation will be Tuesday from 7-9 p.m. and Wednesday 
						from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. in the DeVoe Funeral Service, 136 
						West Washington Ave., Washington. Cremation to follow in 
						the HG Smith Crematory Stroudsburg Pa.
