TAVILLE Wilbert Lee of Hempstead, NY formerly Englewood, NJ died Monday, February 4, 2008. Retired from the Port Authority of NY and NJ in 1994. "Bill" was a Lt. Col who served this country for 25 years in WW II, the Korean and Vietnam Wars. He is preceded in death by his loving wife, Marguerite (1999). He leaves to mourn his passing his devoted daughters, Jeanette, Joan Marie and Jacqueline, grandchildren Marguerite, Marissa, Jerome Jr. and Jasmine, sons-in-law Jerome Daniels and David Marshburn.

Family and friends may visit the Hempstead Funeral Home, 89 Peninsula Blvd. on Wednesday, February 6, from 7-9. Funeral services will be held at 10 AM Thursday. Interment will follow at the Calverton National Cemetery.
