I am very saddened to inform you that Denise Means of the Deputy Executive Director's Office passed away yesterday evening.  I am sure that they are working on a notice to send out to staff, but being that it is Friday afternoon, many may not get the information until Tuesday.  Below is the following information regarding Denise's funeral  arrangements:

IN MEMORIAM
Her friends at the Port Authority were saddened to learn of the passing of Denise B. Means, age 46, on February 14, 2008. Denise is survived by her husband, Shae, children Sheryl and Vincent, and her mother, Mrs. Irene Brown.

Denise joined the Port Authority on February 18, 1986. Prior to her death, she most recently held positions within the Aviation Department and the Office of the Deputy Executive Director/Operations.

Friends will be received at St. Matthew African Methodist Episcopal Church, 336 Oakwood Avenue, Orange, New Jersey on Monday, February 18, 2008 from 12 noon to 2 p.m., with funeral services immediately following. A private burial will be held on Tuesday, February 19, 2008.
