John J.
Kielb Jr., 92, of Eatontown died Tuesday, June 24, 2008,
at Jersey Shore Center, Eatontown. Visitation will be
held on Friday, June 27, from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at
the Damiano Funeral Home, 191 Franklin Ave., on the
corner of Third Avenue, Long Branch.
A Funeral
Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. at the Roman Catholic
Church of the Precious Blood, Monmouth Beach. Interment
will follow at Holy Name Cemetery, North Arlington.

Born in
Maspeth, Queens, Mr. Kielb lived in Bayonne before
moving to Eatontown six months ago. John was a plumber
for 15 years with the Port Authority of New York and New
Jersey before retiring in 1982.
He served
his country honorably in the U.S. Army during World War
II, and was a Pearl Harbor survivor. He was a
parishioner at Mount Carmel Church in Bayonne. He was
predeceased by his wife, Anne Sieczkowski Kielb, in
1993, and a son, Thomas J. Kielb, in 1997.
Surviving
is his son, Reverend John T. Kielb of Monmouth Beach. In
lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the
Church of the Precious Blood, 72 Riverdale Ave.,
Monmouth Beach, N.J. 07750
